Sustainability Indicators
The sustainable indicator or sustainable development indicator is a quantitative, semiqualititative or qualitative information, which provides a complete and essential information about a particular phenomenon that relates to sustainable development (air, water, nature, landscape, industry, agriculture, transport, social sector, etc.).
The indicators are used in making political decisions at all levels, including international, and for informing the general public as well as experts. Optimally, the indicators are grouped into compact files or sets, e.g. files of component or sector character.
CI2, o.p.s. works with the following indicator sets:
European Common Indicators (ECI)
Programme indicators – indicators of strategic or development plans of towns and villages
Locally specific indicators - indicators of the state of towns or villages
Environmental indicators - indicators of the state and development of the towns and villages environment
Among other indicator sets, with which we can effectively work at the local and regional level, belong, e.g. indicators of care, indicators of the impact of economic crisis (SIDEK), indicators of micro-regional development or indicators of unemployment.
